1.Admission Policy

Our college offers a two-year educational program for students who wish to specialize in support and nursing care, aiming to obtain a national qualification as a professional care worker. In Japan's aging society, the elderly and people with disabilities are seeking "reliable care". At our vocational school, we aim to be a care worker with a lot of compassion and sensitivity. We are looking for enthusiastic and sensitive students who will be actively involved in the field of welfare.

2.Curriculum Policy

The curriculum of our Department of Care and Welfare is based on theory of nursing care with the subjects like "Nursing Care", "Man and Society," and "Mechanisms of the Mind and Body".
Nursing care practices will integrate knowledge and skills learned on-campus and practical training learned off-campus. Among them through "Nursing Care Process" which cultivates the ability to provide nursing care services, we will gradually integrate knowledge and technics such as “assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation”.
In addition, we also offer unique courses such as "Japanese for Nursing Care," "Business Japanese," and "Sign Language" to enhance the nursing care skills of our international students.

3. Degree Awarding Policy (Diploma Policy)

The Department of Care and Welfare awards the professional diploma to students who meet all of the following requirements.

• 〈1〉Students who have been enrolled in our Care and Welfare Department for at least two years and have completed the prescribed courses.
• 〈2〉Students who have reached the reference point in each subject (including nursing practices) in the regular examinations held at the end of each semester.
• 〈3〉Those who have been judged by the commission of the Department meeting to have the personality, insight, and healthy spirit appropriate for graduating from the Care and Welfare Department.
• 〈4〉Students who have fully paid the prescribed tuition and other college related expenses.
